I rarely look ahead to fixture lists and try to work out what will happen. One game at a time has always been my mantra. I am rubbish at prediciting anyway, and there are nearly always completely out of tune results. However, I have noticed we are back to back away to Norwich and West Brom early April. If, as I have long thought, we are to be top 2, then those 2 games might need to be the ones we really do condem the others to also rans. 6 points in 4 days there could be demoralising for those competing with us.
If we play as open as we did at the Boro then the score could be anything. Keep it tight first 15 then we're capable of winning it 2 or 3 -1.
Pretty sure it's FA taught that. Pickford does similar stuff. I won't be complaining when Trafford does it at the 2028 Euros
Aye I was at the match with my mate whose a Derby fan. Fans turned on him for the first time this season and it's usually only a matter of time once that happens. They actually weren't that bad, just no creativity in the final third at all. Strange timing though on the eve of a game.
They where singing to him even last season “Paul warne your football is ****” so I’m suprised it’s took this long.
They're so off and on with him, every 3 weeks he either needs shot or the key to the city. Right decision though especially with how much they invested in january.
How ironic that a Burnley player should be praised for taking goals out of the game … … let’s have them on TV more so we can all marvel at them getting eleven me behind the ball
6 points from the next 2 games feels quite important to me because I think the rest of February is actually the hardest part of our run in. An average of 2 points a game will be enough, but I think we might get a few more than that.
They are but surely so are scoring goals. Something that Burnley have struggled to do at times this season.
That’s true but their goal difference is better than ours. They’re nobody near as bad as some make out… Anyway, points are what wins promotion - let’s have another 3 today
