Let’s hope Norwich v Milwall gets the lowest viewing figures in TV history. Sky should be ashamed of themselves.
Why should they be ashamed of themselves? I'm hardly Sky's biggest fan, but can't see how they've done wrong here. This game would have been scheduled and prepped for long before England got to the world cup final. Blame FIFA if anyone for not scheduling the world cup in the off-season! And being brutally honest, not everyone wants to watch the women's football. You might like it, and that's fair enough if you do, but it doesn't have the same appeal to a lot of football fans. Personally, I'd much rather watch the championship, but that's just my personal preference
Good for you, but a World Cup Final, whoever is playing, surely takes precedence over a domestic match.
And that's your opinion, but not everyone shares it. Again, why should Sky be ashamed of themselves for showing it?
The World Cup final was on 2 channels and I watched it. Don’t deny anyone having a choice and watching something else.
One English, one Irish, one Scottish Armstrong. Most of the way to assembling the Infinity Armstones.
Wonder if Carrick could be under pressure fairly soon if he doesn't turn it round, they must have expected to have more than one point after 4 games. They have QPR, Blackburn & Wednesday in their next 3 and he surely will need to register some points in those games. September & October are shaping up to be fascinating with the teams we're playing in those months.
An English Armstrong, a Scottish Armstrong and an Irish Armstrong walk into a bar. The barman looks them up and down and says, “What is this, some kind of a joke?”
Take the likes of Archer, Akpom and Ramsey out of their side, and they're a very different team. It's the problem with relying on loan deals to improve your side. When those players finish their loan spells, you're left with a weaker squad and no sale proceeds to replace them with. It's great if the loaned players get you promoted, but not so great if they don't.
In our case though we arguably already have sales proceed. We are likely just holding on to see if we can put some of that towards premier league players rather than championship ones that need replacing
