Sure the RS are above united for now. I cannot see that lasting. Ok nothing is certain in football but it looks like United could have hit the bottom and the RS are weaker than last season (according to Brenda anyway) United are not in the Cl which is a shame. Sure the club and everyone miss it. But the absence won't last according to most people. Again nothing is certain but it looks like there is more likelihood of United competing in the Cl next season than the RS. Which makes the RS one season participants. So another 5 years in the wilderness in the offing. Yes, no one wants to be out of a competition . But if there was one that over the years united didn't mind going out of it was always the league cup. Always used to blood youth prospects. Thus year the humiliation at MK Dons was not nice but personally I didn't mind because it at least revealed that some players needed to go. It confirmed that players like Hernandez welbeck nani and a few others needed to go. Also confirmed in the eyes of the GGs that the squad needed massive injection of money . We got that.
