Well, we have threads for the other competitions so we may as well start to drum up interest in it before we qualify for it next season!

Some juicy games this round. I think United will overcome Sociedad, but it will be a really tough one for them! Juve v Madrid should be great too.

Joe Hart dropped to the bench for City again as well...

The games involving the English teams are pretty ****e tonight. Hoping Sociedad can beat United. Dortmund v Arsenal tomorrow should be a belter.

I have flights booked to Dortmund for tonight... But my mate missed out on getting us the tickets for the game! I am absolutely gutted, I was really looking forward to it.

I recommend giving PSG vs Anderlecht a watch.

Ibrahimovic usually delivers something special every game. For example, last time out against Anderlecht he scored 4, one of them a 35 yard half volley.

I really really don't envy anyone that has to play Real Madrid right now.

Young dives again. This time he wins a penalty. ****ing disgrace of a footballer.

Ashley Young is such a ****...clear dive given, but van Persie's penalty is saved!

Penalty hit the post actually.

Yeah, I posted while the commentators were still crowing about the great save, but before they realized that it wasn't human intervention that denied RVP. That left post has it in for him, it seems.

Howard Webb still getting big games in Europe - he took charge of Juventus v Real Madrid tonight.
