Sell, the day he arrived we thought he'd be off. 6 game smissing this year? He's a C.... i got trashed on here for daring to appreciate the skill of his diving and niggles. Cos there is a real skill there but guys the first bid is going to be 30-35 mil max... we want 50 so we need as fans to understand if this is done on aug 31 we HAVE to hold the money not throw it away.

"so we need as fans to understand if this is done on aug 31 we HAVE to hold the money not throw it away."

i would be disappointed with the club if they let it get to that stage, give them a deadline to buy him and they will know what the asking price is, either make an offer by that date or feck off and look elsewhere, fed up of this club being taken for mugs need to show some balls for once.

agree about the money part though, but i hope it doesn't get to that, need time to spend the damn thing if he goes.

I don't think we'll be **** on this time around.

I know BR is young etc but I think he has a stubbornness to him - the whole Carroll thing for example, he would of most likely been on his own when he decided that this £35m investment was to **** off out on loan to get him out of the picture.

If there are bids we aren't happy with I'm confident we will say "the fee is £X - stop talking about our player and making bids below this amount"

Credit to Ian Ayre who has taken a lot of stick recently - he and the club have done some good business in 2013 and have learnt their lessons from the debacle in recent years.

Ideally sell the **** soon as and send him off with fireworks as part of a celebratory flotilla down the Mersey. He'll be gone next summer if he stays anyway. Fed up with the nonsense now, his angling for a move just reinforces the fact that on a personal/professional level he's a total liability, but very talented with a football.

However we absolutely must get top dollar for him at all costs, if this means keeping him a year so be it.
