This is what makes me laugh about meat eaters. Just because the animals are 'killed in a nice way', that somehow makes it ok? The years they spend stuck in disgusting conditions is fine, as long as they're given a hug before getting murdered

He never said that animals were treated IN THE SAME WAY, he said animals here are also treated like ****. I'm against animals being killed for food in any way, whether they had a 'nice' life or were kept in ****ty conditions. There are so many cases of animal abuse in this country, as mentioned in the article you failed to understand.

I'm not saying animals are "killed in a nice way", that's an oxymoron, i'm saying animals in the UK are not "treated like ****", and ALL animal rights groups agree otherwise they'd say so.

You may find meat eating revolting, that's your prerogative, you see the killing of animals are cruel and inhumane, again that's your right but whether you agree or not animals here are treated with more compassion than most countries and any attempt to compare the treatment of our food animals with that of Korea is utterly pointless because there simply is no comparison. Unless you think a dog being boiled or skinned alive is the same as a cow getting a bolt in the head after it's been knocked unconscious first.

 

To be fair here in the UK we treat animals so well that some people actually like to make love to them.

 

What the **** are you on about? Of course animals are treated like **** here. Do you think pigs and cows run around in fields? They're stuck in ****ty conditions, pumped with antibiotics and then murdered. How can you compare the animal conditions here to South Korea? What are you basing it on? And yes, dogs being boiled alive/cows getting a bolt to the head is the same thing. They end up dead. How people/animals/anything dies is irrelevant, as they're dead. I don't give a **** about how I die, could be painful or not, I'll be dead.

Animal rights groups have ****all power. There's the odd mini-victory, but there will always be ****tards like Grove that attack people trying to improve the lives of livestock.
