I am not worried about the possible effects of a no-deal Brexit as the deal wreckers have been purged from government and proper preparations have now been put in place. Thankfully the majority of the UK general public are keen for the UK to leave the EU a.s.a.p. The current anti - democratic deniers are just causing problems for businesses who are looking for certainty.

No, I was reporting on the factual latest poll which resulted in the clear majority of Brits wanting Brexit to happen without delay, even with a no deal scenario.
Opinion polls do have a clue in their name. Opinion. William Hague had an article in the Daily Telegraph yesterday decrying the government for being taken over by extremists, but that was his opinion. The yellowhammer document is a collation of facts gathered together by government departments describing the problems that the country would face, and that is not opinion.
Obviously politicians that are scared of having an election have put more store in recent polls. The document is outdated and reflected a past stage when remoaners were dragging their feet on preparations for no deal. Those that wish to deny the democratic result desperately cling to any negatives they can, the public are not impressed.
This afternoon and evening there was a room full of people updating and trying to make the yellowhammer document as bland as possible before it was published, so how it was out of date is just wishful thinking. I’m having a great time thanks. A lunch with a few glasses of red followed by a too long sleep and now the dreaded Gota Fria has started. They have predicted two whole days of thunderstorms, should be interesting. Our villa is on a steep hillside, I hope those villas behind remain there. The god of Brexit will keep me safe.
I did see on the French news today the problems that areas in your part of Spain were having with bad weather. Some towns had had a weeks worth of rain in 10 minutes, and flash floods were creating havoc. If you are up in the hills at least you shouldn't get flooded.
Morning all. Weather just the same as yesterday with no sign of any rain. Sat very still for 10 minutes yesterday watching a red squirrel hard at work looking for nuts. Up and down trees where they are a distance apart, or leaping from one to another when closer. He or she, I don't know the difference without getting up close and personal, really spent the time preparing for tougher days ahead, something us humans are sometimes slow to do. Good day from a very hot and dry monts de Cantal region of the Auvergne. Tanks of water everywhere for the cattle and pipes everywhere taking water from water sources to fields. So hot here we have just been swimming after a walk and we are at 1000m.
