Morning all. We had a little, and it was little, rain overnight. It has knocked the temperature back to a much more comfortable level. I always sow a couple of extra seeds to allow for those that do not germinate. This year everything sowed has grown so a few neighbours will be getting cucumbers to grow on rather than have the fruit supplied. I will have to find a new outlet for the final product.
Morning all, sunny, dry and warm here, so more time outside today. My English neighbour has the builders in installing a swimming pool. He did have an inflatable one for several years, but spent more time patching the punctures than he did cooling off in it. Enjoy your day whatever you have planned.
My day has started off in unique fashion. My partner, up until now unofficially referred to as Mrs Colognehornet - officially became that in Engelskirchen Registry Office today at 11 AM. Some people get married and live together for 30 years - we have done it the other way around. This step into bourgoise middle class normality does not alter my status as an anarcho rebel on the fringes of society. It does however mean that today I am extraordinarily peacefull and will be avoiding conflict situations (and WUMS) on the political threads - this announcement applies only for today Hope everyone has a great day.

Morning all. It started about 11.00 pm with a few flashes and rumbles up above, then the rain, which seems to have carried on through the night. This morning just a nice steady flow that will refill my water butts and soak my plants that need plenty of water. Talking to my young friend from Paris who is staying down here with his grandparents. He is one of the growing band who have a job that they can do anywhere via the internet. He does notice the difference in internet speed when he moves away from the capital where fibre is installed. He does quite a lot of work between midnight and 2.00 am when most people have quit for the night, and it speeds up a little. Life has changed!
