Have a good day one and all ..... Osteopath then I am walking my back today which normally helps .... but wet wet wet up here....
Afternoon all. Last day in the office until the New Year... busy as ever! Looking forward to the break, it's been a mental few weeks in the run up to Xmas but, tbf to my clients and contractors, my cup runneth over with beer, wine and champers this year! A couple of pubs to try during the break - the Bootlegger in High Wycombe and the Monk's Inn in Hemel.
AAAGGGHH!!! There is an inflamed area at the back of the bladder I will have to have a biopsy taken to determine what it is which is going to delay the new treatment. I have booked a week's holiday for the end of March to coincide with the end of the original treatment date, hotel and coach booked and paid for non-refundable. BOOOO
What have you been drinking? To be serious though I really feel as sad for you as you must feel. This is as bad as the poor people stuck at Gatwick and have had all their holiday plans ruined. Still we keep our fingers crossed that all will work out in the end.
Sorry to hear that Dave. Hopefully 4:30 tomorrow a bit of as tonic for you. Not the same as a trip but a little something
Friday night is French football Ligue 2 night. The weather outside is foul, wet and very windy, so I am glad that I have not gone up to watch. Just as the weather turns colder the kick off time is put back half an hour to 8.30 pm. Tonight we have Chà teauroux v Ajaccio one of two Corsican sides that play in this division. I saw both grounds when I was one the island this year, with one playing in a decent stadium, and the other in what looks like a sports centre. Tonight my local side, only sixty miles away, are up against the sports centre lot. 11 minutes gone and not a shot from either side.
Morning all, rather grey , but dry, and the strong winds seem to have died down. No time to sit around as the first of the guests arrive this evening. I hope I can find time to keep up with the Hornets next victory.
Morning all. It's a sad indictment on one's mindset when you find yourself cheering Belgian players in the darts because of the colour of their shirts.... Safe travels to all - both those going to the game and visiting nearest and dearest.
Well here we go Dave. "On fire" is a starter. 1-2 would be my predition. Anyway enjoy. I'll be watching the 'orns of course but keeping an eye on the Canary's push to the Prem
A 6 point Saturday for us Dave. And Pukki on fire again. Happy Christmas Dave. Hope you have a good one. Although getting ahead of myself. It's only 22nd.
Morning all, grey but very mild in rural France. The first of our family have arrived complete with the dog. Already had a message to say that the next lot are only 45 minutes away. Exit nice peaceful Sunday.
It's so mild today that I've had to turn off my heating, it was only on low anyway but it is far too warm in my home
