Morning all. Clearly had some overnight rain that I didn't hear, but the forecast storms passed to the west of us. Agreed to a picnic with the granddaughters today. Probably get rained off, and I see no point in sitting in my car to have a meal.
Arrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that sounds like a very ominous sign for us 'orns. Glad to say here in Cadiz the most pleasant morning you could imagine. Sat on the patio with a mug of tea trying to forget the Liverpool performance last night (well the goalie's performance). At least a Brit did the damage for Real. Only big decision for me today is whether to plant on my basil, or not. And they said once I started to wind down to retirement I'd miss those big decision moments and responsibilities
Three fires have started up in the Highlands of Scotland, and police are looking for a camper van driver that could have started them. Where is Yorkie, and what is he driving?

Great growing weather if you can avoid the hail. OFH I think you said you (or maybe neighbours) had a tunnel? Is that at risk from the hail? I remember years ago seeing hail smash green house glass I see Weston, and even Ayr (where my newcastle mate lives) today are 3 degrees warmer, and Watford 4 degrees warmer than Cadiz. Now that doesn't happen often. At least John O'Groats is colder Good day all whatever you get weatherwise
Evening all, i admit i've enjoyed my first bank holiday off in goodness knows how many years! I've done bugger all this weekend and it's been bliss. I must admit though, i was desperate for the season to end, but now i'm really missing it! Blinking football! lol Night night all, sweet dreams!
Morning all. Again it is cloudy with showers of rain, but warm. Yesterday afternoon I had my carpentry skills called upon again as my daughter had bought a door to fit between two rooms, and she didn't realise that it is not quite as simple to put it into an old house, between old oak posts as it is to fit it into a purpose built block opening. Screw the frame in, try and shut door, mark it, take it out, adjust it, put it back in, and still you haven't quite got it right, so through the process again. It finally worked, leaving her to sand it down, pointing out that with several coats of varnish it would become wider again.
Mid 30s here, too hot to be at work. We need the rains to come after two big storms a few weeks back we've had nada. Life with no Prem is put up able so far.
