Morning all. Bright and sunny again just like yesterday. However in the afternoon some heavy thundery rain came down for a couple of hours. I didn't need to do any watering, and my barrels should have been refilled.
I don't know about you, but my e-mail box has been flooded out with companies worried that because of the new data protection laws they might not be able to send me messages. I have used the occasion to get rid of a lot of companies I don't wish to hear from. I don't know if it will keep our data more secure, but it has to be worth a try.
Enjoy it and I hope the weather is good. With a little effort you could have popped into BB and told him what he is missing!
Morning all. Cloudy and the chance of some more thundery rain later. Still waiting for delivery of my parasol which the tracking system says in on a van. Yesterday an hour before scheduled delivery a message to say sorry they couldn't deliver, but pick another day and time. All texts and e-mails, but no people to speak to. Still it will get here sometime and with the current unsettled weather I would be spending time putting it up, then taking it down.
Morning all from a bright and warm rural France. Lots to do today, my parasol has arrived and I could be glad of some shade this afternoon. Mme has picked up a bug, and food is out of the question for her at present, so I am cooking for one. Need to keep the strength up.
I am going up in July and am a bit worried about that! Think I might play it safe and bring a machine gun! Have a wonderful trip.
