Morning all from a humid island. I woke up and saw a big grey cloud, and we've just had a short, sharp shower which has settled to light rain. I've got a busy weekend with moving stuff from my old flat to the house I've moved to. I'll finally be able to do that as my ex-wife and her dad are coming over to move as much of her stuff from the house that will fit in her car to France.

Morning all, looks like it will be a beautiful day for a wedding. Seems like I caught the sun yesterday and I could look rather red iñ photos. Just have to deliver safely the cake and help to install it, then back to get ready to take my daughter to the ceremony. Think I will be eating at kick off time. I have managed to work the Horns into my speech. Have a good day all.

    Here: www.jonzacgites.com

It's her Dad's home/business and she moved there to help him - her Mum died nearly 7 years ago. We knew that the move would happen one day, but this is earlier than I expected. He'll be 66 next month, and I thought that he might be able to keep going until 70 before needing her.

Thanks guys, yes everything went very well. My speech was so good that two of the guests said they would become Watford fans. My plates of meat are killing me having been prodded into taking to the dance floor briefly. The band was good but very loud. Think my ears will still be ringing in the morning.

Morning all, it feels fresher outside today. Gradually unwinding after Saturday, but now on the second week of tasks before getting home at the weekend.

Morning all from an overcast and slightly damp Bucks. Trip down to Glos. today and a visit to the optician while over here. The set up to get get an eye test is quite different in France. Although some are now starting to provide a basic service, if you want a thorough test you will have to be referred by your doctor to the hospital, and that can take some time to get an appointment. A year ago I was deemed to be able to pass a driving test without glasses, but that is as well as I keep losing my reading glasses only finding them when there is crunching sound as I sit on them. Daughter who lives near me has checked on my vegetables and tells me they have survived the heat, although the grass is knee high. :emoticon-0101-sadsm Hope you all have a good day.
