Morning all from a beautiful sunny rural France. It is quite amazing to see how the hedgerows have started to turn green after the way that they were slaughtered last autumn. A week ago they still looked brown and bare, but new growth has shot up. The small pond that is in the village has become home to half a dozen ducks. I will be keeping a watch to see if they produce any young which could be difficult with the number of predators that exist both on the ground and in the air. Have a good day whatever you are doing. Family dinner for me. I am in charge of the wine supplies.

Morning all. Sunshine and some cloud seems to be the order of the day, but on my run to the bakers it was already 13°C which is not bad. It turned warm yesterday and many of the plants in the greenhouse look rather dry now. Hopefully I will spend a day in the fresh air.
