Good morning all from a mild and damp Weston-super-Mare! While it was playing up last night, it wouldn't let me post, pleased it is sorted now! Have a good day all and I hope to have some news later!
Morning all, yet again damp, but very mild. Yesterday afternoon it was 1°C, this morning it is 10°C. They say weather changes rapidly in the UK because it is an island, but I am a long way from the sea.

Morning all. Overcast but mild and dry in this part of the country. Granddaughter No. 2 has a birthday coming up shortly, so off to find her a birthday present. A limited shopping trip is not too bad, especially when you can break it up with a spot of lunch.
Morning all. It's a relatively cold island, but it's also sunny. My aunt in Aberdeen is 75 today, and my mum has gone up there. If it's cold here, I dread to think what it's like there.
In Ballater where my brother lives just west of Aberdeen it is currently 7ºand clear blue sunny skies
I live a little further north than Aberdeen - having just spent a couple of hours gardening, I've come in for some sun cream and a coffee. It's 9C out there, blue skies and sunshine with very little breeze - very pleasant.
Had a welcome day out of the office and spent a wonderful afternoon in the V&A with my 7 year old niece. The Natural history museum had 1 hour queues so she chose the V&A on the basis that "science is boring and art is fun"! I haven't been before and it was fascinating as always to see things through the eyes of a child - probably the greatest pleasure of being an uncle
Just got home feeling sore and sorry for myself, there was a growth in the bladder about the size of a golf ball It's been removed and the whole area has been scraped, pathology will determine if it's mild or aggressive. If it's mild then I will go through this same procedure every once in a while, if aggressive, it will require surgery, either way he is hopeful of a positive outcome!
Glad you are home Dave, even if it is uncomfortable for the moment. My friend in Dorset had a similar problem and was told that all should be well. He has had one check up since and there has not been a return of any growth, so is now feeling fit again. Hope you soon feel much better.
Long time since I went to the V&A, but I find it one of my favourites. The areas dealing with social history always interest me as I see how life has progressed through the years.
Glad that is all over for now Dave. Have a drink - put your feet up and keep your thoughts positive. Norwich will marmelize Ipswich on Sunday
