I was Leonardo - hence Leo but am now trying to post as Arthur in order to distance myself from some of the unpleasantness that caused Leo to choose not to post. Use of Arthur now would be much appreciated (but I understand if it is impossible not to think of me as Leo)[/QUOTE] Welcome back King Arthur Could you please in your new incarnation, have a word with Merlin and have him magic up for us some league points as soon as possible
Splendid news. My local supermarket had a special offer today on Scottish salmon. Instead of €26 per kilo, it was €11. We will have some of that thinks us, so tonight I will be having salmon in a lemon sauce, with rice and fennel. Didn't have much fennel in the UK, but it has fiber, potassium, folate, vitamin C, vitamin B-6, and phytonutrient content, coupled with its lack of cholesterol, all support heart health. Very important when you follow Watford. As fiber helps lower the total amount of cholesterol in the blood, it decreases the risk of heart disease. At my age such things are worth taking note of.
Morning, Dave; morning, all. Been working my proverbial off recently, hence apparent inactivity here. Happy with the new squad - we’ve got to start turning our form around... Roll on, Monday.
Morning all, showers again and not very warm. My eldest daughter has her birthday today. The night she was born we had a snow storm and I had to walk the two miles to the hospital to see her. The roads were impassable and had only just been cleared enough to collect Mme and her a few days later. Off to see her later after she has delivered the cakes she has made to the village hall. The school parents association have one of their big fund raising Lotos today, and food is required to keep people going between midday and evening meals.
How strange, Frenchie...I too ploughed through snow to see my first daughter's arrival...6 o'clock in the morning in my case!
Just arrived home from her house, and guess what it is snowing. It has often done so and she was quite disappointed that it looked as though she wouldn't get any this year.
