Well, I have to say that, after all the hype surrounding the super-double-blue-moon-once-in-150-years, I was somewhat disappointed to look out the window overnight and only see ..... a moon.
Morning all, feels a bit fresher outside, but it has been very mild for the past few days. I think I heard the first of the cranes flying back north this morning, although I didn't see them. Very noisy birds who squawk rather than tweet.
We have a moorhen wandering about our garden and pond - not usually garden birds so I think it has become lost
Thanks Leo, I have been advised not to expect any answers tomorrow, but surely if it was bad news, they would have contacted me by now. Fingers crossed!
I can only speak from our experience and yes - bad news is delivered very fast. Will have everything crossed for you. Hope especially that you are given some news that can help you relax slightly - I know how debilitating it is to be left wondering and not knowing. Good luck. If god existed I would ask him to look out for you
A friend of mine in the UK went through a similar procedure Dave. He was like a cat on hot bricks waiting for the results. The relief was great when he was told that there was not that much wrong with him. I hope that it is just the same for you.
Back home after my pre op assessment, had ECG, gave blood and urine and blood pressure taken. I asked about results of the tests so far and they said the fact I've been seen in a fortnight rather than the usual 18 weeks wait suggests they are concerned about something but I have to wait until the op on 15th February
Glad today is done Dave. For comparison when Guinivere had her scan they booked her op for 4 days later. Hopefully that suggests - with this interim testing - that they are not looking at cancer. I sincerely hope that is the case. Keep positive - we will keep you in our thoughts
Good. In real life I have three "Christian names" - the second and third are Arthur and Leonard. I was Leonardo - hence Leo but am now trying to post as Arthur in order to distance myself from some of the unpleasantness that caused Leo to choose not to post. Use of Arthur now would be much appreciated (but I understand if it is impossible not to think of me as Leo)
Morning all, bright and breezy here today, but not very warm. The robin that comes into the garden for feeding has become very tame. He has just had a morning feed of breadcrumbs and while putting them into the tray he just sat on the rim while I shovelled them in. Keeping you in mind Dave. There is so much that scans can show up, but not everything. My friend had suspicious scan results, and they had him in within four weeks, but the outcome showed little wrong. Hope the same applies to you.
Seeing as everywhere names get shortened, Arthur has to become Art. Somehow King Art doesn't have the same ring about it.
