Afternoon all. Lots of signs that Spring is heading our way. I have picked a bunch of daffodils for Mme, the wild violets are in flower, snowdrops and crocus are in bloom, and the evenings get dark later, 3 or 4 minutes a day. I have some rhubarb under a pot for forcing that is growing well, and cloches in place to warm the soil. Salad is used in great quantities and I manage to grow enough to keep us and my daughter's family supplied for a lot of the year. The next thing to give us hope that winter is over when the blossom on the blackthorn appears, although there is another month when we could have a cold spell.

Morning all, sunshine and showers they said. We have had the showers, so I await the sunshine. No sign of it popping out from behind the clouds.
