Meh, another international break. Guess that last minute leveller will have to be savioured a bit longer...
Evening all, moved on and now in a damp Dorset. Here until the weekend and will be sampling a few of the local ales. Still have the joy of that well earned point Saturday in my memory bank.
Morning all from a dry but cloudy Dorset. Now have a stinker of a cold and not feeling great. Why do people who live in France visit the UK and return with ailments? Are there different germs here.
thanks but we net in more that we scored but then 7 pts was not bad NO it was great good luck to you all without me
Yes there probably are. We've had chesty coughs for a month, caught from the grandchildren, and identified by their GP as a particular strain of whooping cough which has spread widely in the Brighton area where they live. Hope you're soon better, Frenchie.
Morning all from a wet Dorset. Yesterday is best forgotten. My cold is worse and I can hardly breathe. My friend decided to have a sudden drop in his blood pressure and passed out in front of a pub door. We called for an ambulance that arrived after forty minutes and a further one fully equipped arrived after additional thirty minutes. Very strange symptoms, but he was carted off to A & E. He will have to attend a clinic later. Meanwhile he is not allowed to drive.
I hope both get better. I have passed out by a pub door, but that was on the way out after a lock-in.
Afternoon all, day started with a total lack of voice. Pleased everyone but me. Slowly getting to croak a bit, but more than fed up with my condition. Out to dinner tonight so the thought of good food is cheering. The restaurant we are going to has a French menu so will feel at home.
