Thanks guys... yes pretty shaken..... not heard re the others.... they were in a peugeot 108 which just concertinad sadly.. police said they would only contact me again if anything changed.. so guess they are ok. After the crash they were all fine in the vehicle with no apparent injuries... but all taken to hospital on boards with neck braces as a precaution Our car bodywork at the front caved in so will see if the work is more than the car....... feeling a bit more upbeat today...
Glad to hear you are felling upbeat today and with the news that WM will be gone soon we can all feel a bit better
Hope the upbeatness continues, Yorkie. On a lighter note my father once drove into the back of a hearse. He sat at the wheel, feeling a bit shaken as you do. The undertaker got out and strolled round, taking a brief look at the back of his vehicle before knocking on my dad's window. He nervously wound the window down to hear the undertaker's reassuring voice: "It's alright, sir, we're not carrying..."
There is an episode of Lewis that features drugs smuggled in cadaver's from abroad - I work adjacent to the undertaker's that was used in the filming.
At the risk of starting another heated debate.... I'm somewhat glad to read that Ian Brady has somewhat belatedly, in my opinion, died. http://www.itv.com/news/2017-05-15/moors-murderer-ian-brady-dead-at-age-79/
Good morning all from a dry, for now, Weston-super-Mare! Shame we had to foot the bill to keep Brady alive for 51 years, he deserved no mercy imho Have a good day!
Good morning from a wet St. Helier. I had a delayed injury to my right arm due to the fits I had 10 days ago. My GP felt that I still haven't fully recovered from them and has signed me off for the rest of the week.
Evening all, it has been a day when the car's aircon has been at full stretch. Despite the heat we went walking up in the Esterel mountains. Unless you experience it the scent from the herbs that cling to the rocky surfaces is different to what you will find elsewhere further north. There are some fabulous viewpoints looking out across the Med. with Cannes shimmering through the heat haze in the distance. With the film festival about to start it is a place to avoid, unless of course you get pleasure from sitting in traffic jams, made worse by the local police who have taken children on job experience for the period.
