Lovely sunny morning after some heavy overnight rain. Mme told me it was heavy as I didn't hear it. While on my trip to Limoges yesterday morning the autoroute climbs up into the Monts d'Ambazac where it was trying to snow and the trees were still covered with frost. Morning all, grey but warmer here and I might be in the mood to put the wellies on and do a spot of gardening. Last weeks gale has blown some quite heavy planks of wood that I was saving all over the place, so a bit of re-stacking might be the first job.
Evening all. My best man became a father for the second time on Saturday. Rather appropriate his son should be born on the day when England were playing Wales, as my friend is half-Welsh because of his Mum.
Today I received notification that my application to continue being registered to vote in the UK had been accepted for another year. This gives me the right to vote in any UK general or EU election. Although neither of them may come up in the next 12 months, I find myself able to vote twice in an EU election as I am now registered in both England and France.
Morning all, a little gentle woodworking for daughter this morning. Damp outside after overnight rain, so I am quite happy to have prepared some seed beds yesterday and covered them over to help the soil warm up a bit. It will soon be time to get growing again, although I doubt that I will get any taller!
