Evening all, it has been a bright sunny day in rural France and quite warm for the time of year. What is it about telecoms companies? My daughter arranged to have her phone line moved from the current house to the new one and was told it would be done today between 10.00 and 11.00 this morning. Last night they disconnected her, but at 10.30 two guys turned up in a van to put a line up for her. They took one look at it and said they couldn't do it as they didn't have ladders that were long enough. A van with a hi-lift would have to be employed and after checking said it would be done now on Wednesday morning. So she is cut off from the internet, which she uses a lot to check out prices of materials and their availability. Good job she has a mobile phone.

Morning all, bright and mild they say for today, and it looks ok. Supposed to be moving heavy things for daughter Thursday and yet we don't have a staircase in place yet. Looks like it could be another long day.
