Morning all, very grey outside at the minute and not such a good light for painting. Two walls to go and I will have caught up again with the plasterer. Have a good day! :emoticon-0100-smile

Six mile walk this morning around Cheriton. Good views, pleasantly warm and no rain. Arrived at the small country pub to find a queue of 50 bikers waiting to order food! "They're here every Wednesday," the landlady said, as if we ought to have known. We went elsewhere for lunch!

Evening all, thought I would catch up with a bit of French news. Headlines are over government politicians at war. airport expansion and a referendum. For a moment I wondered where I was, then I had a look to see how strong tonight's wine was. Seems that I am still sober. Then I read that the great wall of Calais will continue to be built despite the "Jungle" going up in flames. Good job that the UK has a spare couple of million £s.

Funny old world.

No, my skills do not extend that far. The plasterer is a young English guy who is very good at it, when he is there. Trouble is that he has moved in with the girl friend and seems to have other things to keep him occupied.
:) 'Getting plastered' too obvious a reply, but I can't do better. <laugh>

If he resides in the capital presumably he is a 'plasterer of Paris'?

Morning all, quite foggy to start with, but now the sun has appeared from it's slumbers and it is quite good to see the autumn colours everywhere.
Hopefully painting finished for this week, and with luck the plasterer should be back today. He needs to go back and finish some of the small awkward bits he left so that complete areas are done with, and the mess he leaves behind can be cleared up. Have a good day whatever you are up to, and I have some very strong glue if that helps you Andy.
