TF1 are showing the Holland v France game tonight. The normally excited commentators have hardly managed a oo-la-la yet and 25 minutes have passed by. France slightly the better as they have had a shot on target.
Morning all, first frost of the season last night in the field across the lane. Our small back garden didn't get it at it has the stone walls of the house and barn giving off the heat they had stored up during the day, but the time has come for Mme to wrap up her more delicate plants in their winter fleece coats. The next thing she will want is to turn the heating on.

Don't worry BB, Boris has it under control by calling for demonstrations outside the Russian Embassy. At least Hollande has made a stand by not meeting with Putin as arranged and calling for him to face war crime charges.
jerzeypie is currently part of a Princes Trust programme. He has to do a 2 week work placement as part of it. On Monday, he had to go to the garage just along from me about a part for his car. He decided to ask if he could do his placement there, and they said yes - definitely a reward for using his initiative.
