Quite so, ofh. I had recently watched and was thus reminded of this video. It is a funny video, yes, but I post it because of its defiance. The fact it is funny does not to diminish the horror of Nice, Bavaria and now Munich, but rather in honour of those that lost their lives, as the noble Mr Connolly puts it: "I've had it with terrorists of all colours and descriptions, ****ing bringing terror to some innocent bastard's life. ****. YOU."
Morning, Dave; morning, all. Off to sunny Norfolk on holiday today. If we go through Narch, Dave, I'll pass on your best.
Another lovely day today 22º and clear blue skies. It is my dad's 93rd birthday today and my brother and his wife are bringing him here for the day - mind you he does walk badly nowadays so it is like having to clear a path for a toddler
At times of terrorist attack, this, rather than the cowardly killer, is how we should reflect on humanity: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-36863925
Opened the post this morning and an academic handbook arrived... completely forgotten that I had slaved over a chapter for it over the winter... Now what shall I spend my £50 chapter fee on???? ............................
Any computer wizards on here who can give a bit of advice? I got my laptop back yesterday after it had been in laptop hospital for a week getting a new hard drive installed. The operating system on it at the moment is Windows 7 Professional but I keep getting reminders that I can upgrade to Windows 10 free of charge. Any good reasons for either upgrading or not upgrading?
No wizard BB, but I bought a new laptop with Windows 10 pre-installed. I also had Windows 7 on the old one. The change took a bit of getting used to, but now I quite like it. There are a few programs that I had that do not seem to be compatible. If you decide to change you should have the option of returning to 7 if you wish, but I have read of a few people who wanted to go back and found some problems.
Mine upgraded from 7 to 10 even though I rejected it. Once installed get rid of the default browser (Edge) and install Google Chrome with AdBlock installed!
