Morning all from a chilly and very damp Bandit Country - huge storms again yesterday. We went out with friends on Saturday night and stayed at their lovely house that is on the edge of a large wood and common. Was woken up to scenes of carnage in their garden as a fox had got in and killed 5 of their 6 chickens - such a shame.
Sleep well Dave. Just been chatting on the phone to a friend who was also feeling a bit lonely. Hopefully that cheered them up a bit.
Being a subscriber to WD Sport, I just received an email from them saying that there will be no paper this week due to a serious personal family problem for editor Kevin Affleck. I didn't realise how involved he was with the paper - is responsible for all planning, editing, designing and production of the paper, as well as some of the writing. That sounds like one heavy workload.
Morning all from a bright, but breezy rural France. Looks as if we will have to wait until Sunday for the weather to settle down into the normal pattern. Some good news regarding Nic Cruwys, he seems to be getting back to a more normal life. http://www.hemeltoday.co.uk/news/watford-fc-fan-nic-cruwys-is-doing-well-say-family-1-7434265
Good morning from a currently dry Jersey. Depending what bit of the sky you look at, it's either sunny or there's a big dark grey cloud that will mean heavy rain.
