Good day all..... warm one eh... We are off tomorrow on our Norwegian Fjords Cruise..... weather looks good for our crossing from Liverpool round the north of Scotland...(phew) Back Saturday week and got my train ticket and match ticket for our last match on the Sunday ..... COYH!

Corsica. Love the place, the people, the food and drink and the wonderful beaches and walks in the mountains. Eight hours on the ferry each way, but the view as you sail into Ajaccio with the volcanic landscape makes it worthwhile.
Good morning all... I have a day off today - it's Election Day in Scotland & my school is a polling station, so I couldn't go in if I wanted to. I'm wondering what voters will make of the 'decorations' - my class have been organising a mock election and the school is festooned with posters. Small class numbers dictated that we could only accommodate four political parties, so we democratically voted to decide which party to drop. Sorry Tories - it was a unanimous decision.
Due to the decay of Labour north of the border the Conservatives could be the second largest party in the Scottish Parliament. I'm sure you would like to represent reality to your pupils.
Morning all from a cloudless blue sky and already warm rural France. The vent on the greenhouse is already well open. Another public holiday today, so many workers will take tomorrow off and have a long weekend. The 1st May holiday was lost as it was on a Sunday, but it is a traditional day to protest about government and people were out in force. Changes to the employment laws that have been proposed are not going down at all well.
