Have a good day, birdy boy...off to the Rose Bowl for Hampshire/Middlesex cricket today. I'm thinking I ought to take my kit along with every fast bowler Hampshire sign getting injured before they can contribute!
OK you lovely people, thank you for the kind birthday wishes, I'm off to bed now, I hope the room stops spinning when I wake up tomorrow! Night all Night H
Good morning all, what a splendid day it looks like out there. Already it is quite warm, little to no wind, so out with the ladders to put some more varnish on my high level shutters. My cement mixer is out on loan to my daughter, well it was until the Redstart family took it over to bring up a family. Put into one of her outbuildings, and tilted to drain she noticed the nest about ten days ago when an adult bird flew out. Today the eggs have hatched and she can see some ever open beaks. Good job that the mixer is not required at present.
Morning all Damp and grey here so might be a shortened day at the cricket. We saw a redstart in the garden a week ago, the first I've seen in 5 years here.
Good morning all from a cool Weston-super-Mare. It's supposed to get alot warmer by the end of the week! Have a good day!
Leicester City Champions, amazing, well done and done in such style - Congratulations to them. Claudio is a class act. If they can do it.......
Been away - belated Happy Birthday Dave and may Norwich win all their remaining matches (except 1 perhaps).
Morning all from a bright & warm West West London. Supposed to be warming up and might risk having the first BBQ of the season on Saturday.
Might be worth a punt. The bookies seem to have learned a lesson though - they are only offering 1000/1 on us winning the 2017 title. A spare tenner may find it's way to them from me.
Morning all from a very bright & sunny Bandit Country - beautiful day out there and will be taking in some sun a bit later. Gym I go to has a different challenge each month - calories burnt, miles run etc. I have been expecting a cycling one and sure enough it's the challenge for May. I do some time on the exercise bike to warm up and get through around 16KM each visit, so I thought the challenge would be a few 100 KM during May - Oh no, it's the Tour of Britain and 1162KM to get through! So, I wont be on the leader board, but in 3rd at the moment! BB - I though Sturgeon was more Jimmy Krankie than Strormtrooper?
