Morning all, grey and damp here today, better tomorrow and worse on Sunday. :emoticon-0101-sadsm At least the wind has changed from the cold northerly into a milder south westerly.

It's now glorious, unbroken sunshine down here, not a single cloud in the sky!

Plenty of rain promised from tomorrow over the next few days! :( Well, it is Bank Holiday! :(

So that's where the cold wind has gone! Blue skies up here in the north, with warm breeze and 12C. Unfortunately, I hear the mower calling...

Morning all from a bright & sunny Bandit Country..also unfortunately this will mean dusting down the mower. But it has to be done and it will mean working up a thirst that will be quenched tonight...

Now that I can't answer. I'm not a fan of the blended stuff, prefer the single malts from the plethora of small distilleries in this area.

I'm also a single malt lover, my favourite being BruichLaddich "The Ten Year Old Laddy!"

My sister loves Laphroaig which is so heavily peated, I liken it to swallowing a ball of barbed wire! <yikes>

These are my favourites - and not just because the distillery is just a pleasant stroll away from my front door..

Really Mark? Easter 1967, in the running for promotion:

    Good Friday Brighton H 1-1 D
    Saturday Leyton Orient H 1-3 L
Easter Monday Brighton A 0-1 L and to round it off the following
    Saturday Gillingham A 1-4 L

    I still bear the scars........

If I remember rightly, Cliff Holton scored for LO in that match too. Traitor that he was. :emoticon-0100-smile
