Good morning all, it is dry but parky out there. Been into town to get some bread, but the baker is on holiday until tomorrow, so no heat from his ovens, or the smell of freshly baked loaves. The little supermarket has bread, but it is not as good and goes dry very quickly. Some gentle pottering about inside today I think, although there are plenty of much older men than me wrapped up against the cold doing some work on their gardens and allotments. Must be getting soft.

Afternoon all from a damp and breezy Bandit Country...big day today Our first grandchild was born by C-Section at 10.30 this morning coming in with a fighting weight of 6lb 10oz (in old money). Mum and Daughter are doing well and my son is obviously over the moon....
Pleasently surprised this morning .Season tickets renewed by 9.15 and our status had been automatically changed from adult to over 65 for me and from young adult to adult for my son. I must admit I was not expecting it to go so smoothly.

Morning all from a damp and cold Jersey. I'm at the airport, waiting for my flight to Manchester. It's been delayed by over 2 hours but it's not as bad as it seems as it means that I'll have less time to wait there before I can check into the hotel.
