Morning all, the wind has dropped and it is currently dry, but showers are forecast for later. Yesterday the wind ripped one of my shutters away from it's mooring and has broken some of the timber. A year ago I noticed that some rot had set in and intended to make some new ones before this winter, but somehow have not got round to it. Looks as if the time has come and I cannot put it off any longer.
She was an actress in the tele novela, sorry soap oprea, "queen of the south," which was about Narcos, I am not sure she is in favour, just using her contact to arrange interview. Still, wierd news!

Good morning all, bright and sunny at present, but quite chilly. Off to buy some timber today to make the new shutters which I can do in my workshop even if the weather outside is wet. I will be getting some bits and bobs that I also need from Brico Depot that is part of the B & Q group. Like the English counterpart you can never find an assistant if you need one, and how they display materials sometimes defies logic. Would you put the drill bits next to the light bulbs?
Morning all from a dry, slightly bright, but very chilly Bandit Country. Just a couple of hours of Excel bashing and conference calls and then all aboard the beer-bus to Soton. Little Miss W_Y was at the Villa v Palace game last night and said Palace were very poor and Villa never looked like scoring and it took a complete screw-up by the Palace keeper to gift them the goal. Seems that there a lot of clubs looking for strikers!
I am amazed Villa scored.. I am even more amazed that Newcastle scored 3 against Boring U.... Mind you I am probably as amazed that they managed 3!

Morning from a grey and cold bit of France. You cannot see any rain, but you can feel it on your face when you go outside and the lane looks wet. A cold spell is on it's way with snow possible. Time to get some logs in for the wood burner.

Absolutely freezing outside...and I've chosen this evening to drive up to Northamptonshire and then on to Lincoln tomorrow! Still, even more aged than me relatives must be visited. At least they are always delighted to see us...
