Morning all, it is bright and sunny at present but showers are forecast. The 88 year old lady who lives across the road has rolled her car into a field, and it is a write off. Not sure what she was up to, but she is unharmed apart from bruising caused by her seat belt. Currently she is confined to home which is difficult as the travelling bread and butcher vans have stopped coming to the village. It remains to be seen if she gets another car, but family and friends are helping out for the time being. She is a very independent soul, so I wouldn't be surprised to see her driving a sports car before long.
Just what my mum 93 did... whilst fiddling with the heater!..... .( then she had a brain bleed 10 days later which is quite usual in the elderly.... so let's hope Mme is OK...)
Night all.... At a premier inn in central coventry tonight... now i know why no one goes to coventry,,,,dire.... no directions from station across a busy ring road to town centre... building everywhere.... most of the centre is 60s concrete.... but no signs etc.... awful!
