Good morning all from a very sunny part of France. The sky is without a cloud, just vapour trails that are hardly moving, suggesting there is little wind at higher levels. Lovely to see the autumn colours of the trees and hedgerows lit up like this and with the temperature forecast to rise into the twenties it should be a good day for being outside.
Morning all from a wet Jersey - it's raining hard enough that I've lost the Sky signal, so can't have Vintage TV on while I get ready for work. This morning it's "Wake up to the 50s" until 8 then "Wake up to the 60s".
I hate plumbing. A leak behind the upstairs toilet has created havoc to the flooring. Lots of drying out to do and new laminate boards to be fitted. Could be worse I suppose. I could be waiting for a workman to arrive when he has the time.
Good morning all from a cold and dry Weston-super-Mare. Off to the eye clinic today to see if they can halt, or at least slow down my declining eyesight. Have a good day!
Morning all from a wet St. Helier. I have an engineer from Jersey Telecom arriving today about upgrading my internet as they are installing fibre cables. I have a morning appointment which is any time between 8 and 2! This means that I've had to take a day off work because of it and it might be that the appointment may just work out where the cables may need to be connected and the installation take place on another day.
Sæl öll from the Graham Taylor Breakfast Nook. Tea and coffee, donuts and fruit are on the bar. Half and half coffee for Brian Black coffee for Bragi Flat white coffee for Yorkie Frothy for W_Y Café Allongé for OFH I am returned from my weekend of rock and roll in Nottingham. If Saturday had started at a normal time I could have come to Stoke for the football match. I did not know the towns were close as they are.
Morning all, quite an overnight storm with heavy rain. Looks as if the roof repairs done last week proved to be successful. Bright and sunny here now, but had to go and give my bank a bit of a talking to when I discovered that the money paid into my account was wrongly shown. It would have been alright if they had given me more, but needless to say it was less. They seemed quite unconcerned and said it would be picked up sooner or later. At one time bank staff didn't leave at the end of the day until the books balanced. Suggesting a visit to Specsavers was completely lost on the clerk at the desk as they have no shops out here.
Morning all from a wet St. Helier. I finish work early due to a hospital appointment today, then start late tomorrow due to an appointment with my GP, both of which I have to make the time up for as they are medical appointments. I thought that I would take the opportunity waking up early has given me and make up the time before I take it (hope that makes sense!).

Winter has arrived.
Morning all from a warm and sunny rural France. Three days ago I ordered some filters via Amazon from a company in Jersey. Made in Germany they were despatched from Switzerland and arrived here this morning. Including postage they were a lot cheaper than I can buy from any of the shops here, which is a shame as I like to keep the locals in business where possible. I think the days of buying everything from your local general store have disappeared.
Rained all day, lawn completely covered in soggy beech leaves, first draft of next book finished...time for tea and cake I think!
