No, but I think this may just be the beginning. How much safer for the perpetrators is it to cause total disruption this way than via the more customary methods of assaulting international organisations and institutions?
This is a big loss for the island: http://www.itv.com/news/channel/2015-10-23/islanders-pay-tribute-to-mitch-couriard/ I didn't know Mitch, but was told who he was by my then fiancée, now ex-wife when I first saw him at an event not long after I moved here. He was one of those people whose presence at a event made you feel reassured that everything would go smoothly as he had an air of calmness about him.
Good morning all from a wet and cold Weston-super-Mare! Have a good day and good luck to your Golden Boys!
We have been walking around like zombies since returning from our African journey last w/e. Post holiday depression, facing the mounds of washing, damp cold autumn weather, 24 hour journey home... We did an overland trip from Cape Town to Victoria Falls taking in S Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, flying home from Zambia, 3400 miles in all over 22 days, on a truck and camping. Absolutely fantastic journey covering amazingly varied terrain, weather (104F at one point!), Animals, Birdlife and very nice friendly locals. The Namibian deserts were astoundingly beautiful if a little barren - I had always wanted to see them. Last day we topped it off with white water rafting down the Zambezi from just below the falls, grade 5 rapids, awesome. I could go on but lets just say a holiday that will live long in the memory and the first of our big planned retirement escapades. Africa is a fantastic continent, just love it. Hope all are in good fettle?
Presume I get my Latte from the Breakfast Nook, do I need to order something exotic to get on your list? No weather on Monday, do the clocks go forward 24 hours?
Grey and damp here this morning. A little shopping done...now for coffee and newspaper and this afternoon keeping track of the Hornets while watching the rugby.
Cheer up Dave and sleep well. Even if your fellow birds are not always appreciative of your support, it is nice to know that Hornets also have wings, and although not so pretty we are quite happy to welcome a fan with yellow on their shirt.
Quiet after the storm, strange here on the mountains/upslopes of Jalisco. worse reports to come, good news is the win today.
Morning all, these clock changes are uncalled for. It has not even made midday yet and I feel it is lunchtime. Came across this which I found interesting. https://www.youtube.com/embed/O_me3NrPMh8
It was proposed a few years ago by a States Member that because we are part of the British Isles but closer to France, we should have our time between the two.
