Afternoon all from sunny Spain. The barman at the hotel, a Real Betis fan, has told me that I am the first Watford supporter he's seen staying there. Had a lot of pleasure telling him about the club and our Spanish links. Hmmmm I see a sangria with my name on it...
I was at a meeting in Surrey today - someone's rang and the tone was Zcars. The owner was an Everton fan
Plenty of them here too. I know I'm a bit mutt but some scouse woman asked the chef a question and I didn't have clue what she was on about.
Sæl öll from the Graham Taylor Breakfast Nook. Tea and coffee, donuts and fruit are on the bar. Half and half coffee for Brian Black coffee for Bragi Flat white coffee for Yorkie Frothy for W_Y Café Allongé for OFH One of my colleagues left his telephone on his desk when he went somewhere yesterday and he received a call. The ring tone was a really horrid pop song from several years ago.
Morning all! Gutted not to be going today but having done the uni run back to Sheffield yesterday and sat on the motorway, engine off, for a good while because of an accident, I don't regret not having the journey! Lots of uni returners today and with footie too it'll be busy out there! Still, at 3pm I shall be regretting my decision not to go, I'm sure! Lol.
H, jerzeypie went back to Derby at the beginning of the week as he had a few things to sort out. Dry at the moment and the forecast is for it to be fair. I hope that is correct as I've got the Jersey Softball Association end of season dinner tonight and I would like the short walk to the venue to be a pleasant one. Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing.
Yep, my son went back last week too, up to Leeds to start the last year. He hadn't yet seen his house coz of him being in south Korea last year and all his friends were up early so he figured he'd had enough of family, it was time to head back and be with friends lol. He's in Maastricht atm, his girlfriend is there for this year, her study year abroad. Far more accessible than south Korea!
Afternoon all from a bright & sunny bandit country. Bit of a difficult week-end - today there is the annual golf tournament in memory of my dear freind who passed a few years ago of MND. Will be a lot of old mates and friends out afterwards for a beer or 6 in his memory. Tomorrow is the 1st anniversary of Mrs W_Y's dad passing from us, so will be a tough day for her and all of us. But some goodish news - we are going to be grand-parents in March next year. #2 sons girlfriend in pregnant and as they are not living together at the moment, we will have a busy time ahead looking of houses, mortgages etc. Life never seems to get easier!
Afternoon all, had to get up early to see our visitors off as they head back north. Tried to get my printer to work and no success with that despite spending all morning going back and forth with the programs. Not really very happy, so really hoping for a good result to lighten my gloom. Sure three points will show me what I have been doing wrong.
