Afternoon from an overcast but mild Bandit Country. Just spent a few hours sorting the garden in prep for the winter. Garden furniture staked away, replaced the cover on the rabbits cage and started to dig out a base for this mother of a stone BBQ that is being delivered on Monday - over 250 Kg's! Old metal BBQ is on top of the skip that we have been filling with the contents of the lost and garage - number 2 son is returning home for a year or so to save more money for a deposit to buy his own place Looking forward to tomorrow. Little Miss W_Y & I are heading down to Watford for the day. There is a charity match at the West Herts Club in the early afternoon - with Luther, Alan Smart, John McLelland & Steve Sherwood on the cast list, we will then have some lunch and a couple of drinks before heading to The Palace Theatre for the next Tales From The Vic night..then get the trains back to Bandit Country!
Morning all, bright and sunny start to the day, but the overnight temperatures are noticeably lower than a couple of weeks back. Tractors were out in the fields late last night, so all is quiet here this morning, just a couple of the small white vans that the farmers use when going to check on the sheep have been pass the cottage window. Multitude of tasks await me, it is just a case of choosing which seems the most urgent. Will have another coffee while I consider the matter.
Feet up, recovering from several hours standing on the slope in mk at the rather excellent Foo Fighters gig yesterday.
