Police seized the bright green Lamborghini sports car near their Parkside base in Cambridge on Sunday, after it was spotted missing a front number plate. It had been rented from a Luton car hire company, which has also received a summons. The Huracan model retails from about £180,000. Just got home from work and at long last our season ticket cards have arrived. I had visions of along queue at the ticket office on Saturday having to obtain a paper ticket.
It's raining here. It looks like it's also going to be raining on Thursday when we have our annual Battle of Flowers festival - a big problem for all those who have built floats, but even more so for those who are using paper flowers instead of real ones. Normally it wouldn't bother me as I hardly ever go, but this year my Mum and Aunt are over and we're going with my youngest.
Morning all, off to the vampires for Mme's blood test this morning, so an early start as she cannot have anything to eat or drink before offering up her armful. You can have the district nurse come to your home and collect it, but they start work about 5.00 am. All part of the system to try and catch things before they start to be a problem.

Good morning all from a happy Hornet who has an hour of gentle rain. That will do quite nicely as it means I will not have to do any watering this morning. As we have the commune fete weekend all the grass has been cut around the seven mile circuit for the cycle race and the road sweeping machine has been up and down the lane several times. Off on the bread run now as we are in charge of three grand daughters today who can really eat as if it is going out of fashion. Not sure where they put it all.
