    Don't knock it until you've tried it. During the War Vera Lynn would have it most nights, you would often hear her singing its praises 'Whale Meat Again'

    No, sorry, much too early for me. TV viewing here often starts about the same time you hit the hay. ;)

    Been a really lovely Spring like day here. Finally managed to get on the soil and gave the grass a bit of a hair cut. Another two weeks and winter will be over for us.

    To a large extent. Last year the end of February was very warm and dry. March through to the end of May made up for it by being colder and wetter than normal. Each year lately has been different, but as a general rule we think that the end of February is the end of winter.
