Well I found a novel way to stop Mrs L spending money today. I had another physio appointment and she announced we were going shopping in Chichester afterwards. However on leaving home I shut the front door - leaving the keys inside. All other doors and windows were locked. So after the phsyio we came home and called and then waited for a locksmith to come out. Unfortunately I suspect the cost of that call-out was more than Mrs L had been planning to spend. What is worrying though is that first the locksmith did not ask for any identification or proof we live here -and secondly it took him less that 20 seconds to open the front door without drilling or anything - just with a little gizmo he carried in his van. I suspect what I paid him puts him in the Wayne Rooney bracket of earning £s per second - unluckily for him he only got paid at that rate for 20 seconds
Back from buying shirts and t-shirts...the holiday is almost upon us and today's cloud and rain make the prospect even more appealing.
