Something not quite right about that...:huh:

The mention of bars reminds me of a bar in Manilla where a special service of the house was 'delivered' through a hatchway in the front of the bar, around stool height. The problem was that barflies who availed themselves of the service could never be sure whether it was being delivered by a male or a female.....

I did notice that Scotland beat the United Arab Emirates at cricket in some ICC final or other yesterday - although a closer inspection of the scorecard tends to suggest that it was really South Africa beating India...

Morning all from a bright & clear bandit country - although the sky has a red tinge which would suggest some rain on it's way.
Just enjoying one of the best jet-lag free nights sleep when I was woken by daughter asking for a lift to the station...grrrrrr
 
Morning all from a chilly Jersey.

Last night was jerzeypie's 18th and my ex-wife's 40th birthday party. I was back here before 9, mainly because of jerzeypie's younger brother. Due to his AS he's uncomfortable at parties, and he was starting to get agitated, so it was better to get him out of there. When I woke up this morning, I did wish I hadn't donated my trumpet to the Island Scout Band as I had this strange compulsion to phone my ex-wife and play "Reveille" over the phone to her!
 
It will be interesting to see what the attendance is today. I think many people will think of Thursday as a defining moment .
