Morning all from a bright and sunny Malta. Bloody typical, had four days of gales and rain and now it's sunny when we are leaving.
Afternoon all, cloud and some showers promised here, but the temperature is rising. Amazing how many logs a wood burner can get through when the frost hangs around all day. Sorry for the cold sufferers. Many of the English that I know out here complain that they only catch colds when they visit the UK. Must be something in the air that is different.
Wet and windy here this morning. I just hope the Channel isn't too rough as my youngest is coming back from his Grandad in France this afternoon and I just hope the boat doesn't get cancelled. If 4 PL sides can play today (Leicester, Newcastle, Swansea and West Brom) why can't all of those who aren't on TV play especially as the first 2 are playing each other?
Very grey with showers, but much warmer here. The chasse are out in the field beneath my house. Hi-viz jackets do seem to have reduced the annual death toll of hunters shooting each other. Rather like the hunt in the UK the success rate has always been low. Wild boar and deer are the big problem causing many accidents and deaths on the roads, but the reduction in their numbers is not noticed. I live in hope that the farmer behind my fields will reinstate the fencing this year, but even if he does it will not stop deer getting in.
Morning all Steady rain here but with a heavy cold and loss of voice I plan to park myself on the sofa for the day.
Rain stopped here and brightening up - warm at 11.2º - my cold seems to be a bit better - wish the sciatica was. Not joining in the FA Cup predictions Theo?
morning all..hope all the cold sufferers are on the mend. Thanks for the latte Ak, much needed today! I am already failing with my new year resolution! 10,000 on average every day. i'm slipping already..must go for a walk later!
