It will be cheaper to pay the fine Mex as there were six of them there and they even asked me to blow into their machine that showed 0.00 I came over here Theo after driving for 45 years without ever getting points or a speeding fine. The road I was on yesterday is straight for 5 miles and no other cars in sight. I was not rushing, but the speed limit is 56 mph and you just find yourself speeding up unless you make a real effort to watch the speedo rather than looking out for wild boar that have a nasty habit of popping out of the woods on each side of the road.
Had one for a work colleague once...ten minutes in the passenger seat and I was ready to drive into the next tree...
But the whimper has become a Roar once more... http://www.a-league.com.au/article/...---4-brisbane-roar/1tem5lladbgbo1008bbiscvs1m
Morning all, a non-football day, so will organize my day without having to stop everything about 3.00 pm. I see that from January 1st we will see the vanishing spray used throughout the FL. They use it over here and I must admit that I think it works well. It might have stopped the Millwall players rushing out of their wall every time we had a free kick. Maybe it could be used to 'vanish' whole clubs, without mentioning any names.
Agreed - it might also stop those cheating sods who roll the ball forwards 5 yards as soon as the referee's back is turned... I think they should equip each lino with it too, to mark the spot where the ball went out of play.
http://www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk/...ender-Jonny/story-24527829-detail/story.html? A bit rich coming from the club that spawned Shaun Derry... Maybe I just have yellow tinted glasses, but I didn't think that Ekstrand's tackle was particularly disgraceful - awkward and poorly timed maybe, but certainly not malicious.
For those of you who watch nature to get your long range weather forecasts, the cranes that fly over here in huge numbers on the way south for the winter, are on the move. You hear them coming before you see them as they are very noisy birds, then you see long echelons of them, quite low sometimes depending on the winds. Last year they didn't fly over until early-mid December, and we had little harsh weather at all in February, which is the coldest month of the year. Two or three weeks earlier this time, so I expect that we might see some snow even come the New Year.
Afternoon all - thoroughly enjoyed the Scotland match last night. The pace was frenetic - a real throwback to the good old days of the home internationals (all be it Ireland never played in them!)
I enjoyed it too - albeit a little too much head tennis at times. Reminiscent of our early eighties games...
Is it you, BB, who is voting for Judy Murray to stay in Strictly? I don't watch it, but Mrs Rijrode is mystified as to how she keeps in the competition. Apparently she should have been expelled (or however contestants leave this show) in the first week. Anybody else know anyone else who watches this show?
Just had to google Strictly & Judy Murray - had no idea what you were talking about. From which you will gather that the answer to your question is no, it's not me. When it was on, I was either watching the tail end of Scotland v New Zealand or the Falkirk v Hearts game I had recorded....
Not the best of days here, showers and windy. Still it will get better as it is that day when I go out for dinner with my Forest friend. No doubt I will be told about his latest misadventure when he missed his ferry to England and spent an uncomfortable night in his car in the ferry port.
