I'm not saying I agree with them. I'm just looking at it from their point of view, and I think Norwich are very low on their list of priorities. We're now into anonymous mid-table territory- if we take a big scalp, we'll be on early. If it's a 4-3 thriller, we'll be on early, otherwise no one will want to know. It's the relegation and title battles that matter to the pundits now. I think we should be happy in being under the radar, I don't need Anal Shearer and Mark Lackingsome to tell me how well we played yesterday
Apologies Rob. Just jumped on my hobby horse. In my book "Match of the Day" should mean what it says and the headline match should be the one of most intrinsic interest from a football perspective. The criteria the programmers use are all extrinsic to the matches themselves -- viewing figures, fan base, top or foot of table, and so on.
