Villa are there for the bloody taking. Absolutely awful team creating zilch and the crowd is just as bad..can hear a penny drop inside their stadium. Sort that final ball out and we could have 3 points here.
Desperately poor passing out of defence by Norwich, gifting possession back to Villa on half a dozen occasions. We could do with tightening up on that aspect
I don't really understand why we persist with Johnson, he gives the ball away far too often. Tettey is athletic and aggressive enough not to need him in there, Fox would be the logical replacement - I agree.
Poor first half - two poor teams on this display. We don't deserve to be losing in the sense that Villa have created almost nothing. But the defending for the goal was truly awful. Last week is starting to look like a false dawn. Let's hope we can turn it all around in the second half.
I'm sure I saw him sitting on the bench behind CH laughing at something... Anyway let's not forget we should of had a penalty.
..........sorry, passing is a BIT LOOSE? it is bordering on woeful, and the enigma that is wes is terrible with his lack of passing. just runs with the ball until he loses possession. and how did he fail to score.
We needa double change at h/time Turner off for Barnett & Fox on for Johnson then its game on. I know he had a good game v Arsenal but Turner is always going to give the opposition a goal ! just seen the replay again and he's bloody ball watching !!! Shocking player.
Changing centre-backs is hardly going to help mid-match and Barnett is hardly makes me feel comfortable either. And there seems to be some confusion as if Fox is even on the bench anyway!
Not sure I am watching the same game as you then....I think he has done more than anyone in midfield to at least try and get things going up front. Could put his "ball keeping" down his confidence and I do not blame him for that as he is actually doing pretty well most of the time.
Agree with Chippie about the goal. Turner might as well be a snowman for all the good he did. How can you be that frozen with one player in the box? Really poor on his behalf, or really poor communication between him and Bassong. Either way that's another gift from the heart of the Canaries defence. Too generous.
Surely it's our turn to score a goal against the run of play? Also, that's the first time I've heard the Villa fans.
