Normally it's a good race this one, Maybe even Ferrari might challenge for a win at last

Lewis Hamilton? In Canada? With an engine upgrade? With his reputation?

To cause mild enthusiasm, you could argue that Bottas is as strong, if not stronger than Hamilton in Canada.

That and with a lack of high speed corners and plenty of straights and rear limited traction zones Ferrari many not be awful. Like it'll still be a Mercedes 1,2. But Ferrari should be able to keep up with Verstappen at least.

Taken a punt on Max here.

Canada can sometimes throw up some wacky races and it’d be typical of Ferrari to falter when Mercedes leave a door open.

Latifi in for Kubica for FP1, how long before it's permanent?

The good news is that Mercedes are a second ahead with the PU in chill mode...

Merc crushing them in P2 as well.

Merc has traction unlike anything else on the grid. The others need to figure out the trick very quickly.

It’s like a car with active suspension versus the field without, insane.

Benito ( sp) has already said there will be a massive shake up in the chain of command . Like Todt and Brawn brought to the team ( in fact reverse the name to order of importance ) .

    Who would have thought ...

I think it was MITO who said get some Brits in ?

it's not rocket science to say that since the Italians ejected brain and deliberately put in nothing but Italians ferrari have been **** and infighting and looking stupid left right and centre.

years later and they are still **** really despite spending **** loads on cars and wasting both alonsos and vettels best years.

I think we're all being a bit harsh when you consider they've been the only team that's actually challenged Merc since 2013, which was the year Williams had the 2nd best car.

I still think Merc have a fair bit up their sleeve.

    Hope I’m wrong though.

Have to say that with the resources available to them , they should have done far far better than they have .
