Yeah it's not for everyone, it's grown on me tbh. My house has multi layers of music. Downstairs we usually have some dub or roots reggae on in the background. When I go upstairs my step son has all the up to date UK grime and US trap etc. I can't help but remember the days when I was on point in that genre, now I'm way behind - takes me back to the 90's! please log in to view this image
I'm happy in the 90's though...the Hip Hop was on a crazy level. Modern artists have to impress me hard, they always onto a winner though when they come up with something that takes me back. You heard of Logic? I like him
Yeah Logic is a proper throwback, nice to hear. Even people like Action Bronson, Killer Mike are still repping the 90's. Still a fairly big scene considering it's 20+ years ago! Trouble is all the kids are going crazy for this trap and drill music. Genre is changing.
