calm down, boats aren't cheap either though . Just surprised you're thinking about one of those before a car lol
Get down to the local chandlery and have a chat with them mate. There's usually loads of classified ads on their boards for boats. All budgets catered for. But I reckon you could pick up a decent little boat with a small cabin over and an outboard for around £2k-£3k You're in the right part of the country for it, so there's bound to be loads of deals to be had
Might not even spend that first time round tbh, step into the unknown a bit so get something a bit cheaper n if it's worth while get something better lol. You're right about being in right part of country though, even better down by you.
Have a look on ebay mate, to get an idea of what's out there and prices. I'm no expert on boats, but there's plenty out there to suit all budgets. Just don't go buying a tiny little boat with no cabin / radio etc and then try and sail it over to France
I'm no expert either by any means which is why I won't be doing what you say Surprised at how cheap some are though. Can get a second hand speedboat that seats two for about 4/500 quid. Obviously that's just a quick look with no real research done but shows it can be done easily enough. Would probably get something better than that to begin with tbh though lol.
You’ll need a car to tow it mate and somewhere to park the ****er.......unless you’re going to pay mooring fees.
Yeah that's the idea mate. Like I say it probably won't be until next Spring was just wondering if anyone here had any experience.
Obviously not, but by the end of this conversation, we will all convince you that you are a twat..Not606 at its best
Most likely, and then I'll probably the ignore the lot of you Although @PISKIE tried to be helpful by saying he bought a rowing boat for a nifty n it sank the first time he took it out
