Hated a fella but came to his aid when he needed it

 

Rang the rspca once for an injured bird and they told me to leave it

 

We've got a seabird sanctuary down here, just a bloke who takes in injured birds at his home. His dad set it up after the Tory Canyon disaster where thousands of seabirds were covered in crude oil. I've taken Gulls, Sandpipers, Guillimots into him for rescue. Remember finding an injured Gannet once and trying to stuff it into a small cardboard box to take in. They are ****ing massive up close and it did not want to go in the box, ****ing thing pecked my arms to shreds, ungrateful ****

 

Ideally mate... they might have heard you cos on nights next week

 

I didn't mean that late. Just enough to be able to go to the pub without having to get up early for work.

Can you ask them if nights means 1pm-9pm ?

 

I think I’ve posted this before but the best job I ever had was in an independent video store (before Blockbuster killed them all).

11-8, 7 days a week, £3 an hour plus a bit of cheeky poster selling on the side.

Hardly got any trade, spent the days watching films and flirting with the local single mums, in the pub for 8.15pm, didn’t have to surface til 10am the next day.

****ing magic.

 

We have 2-10 but it's a **** of a shift tbh. The earlies are the best really but obviously a struggle when you go out.

I was half hour late this morning though so really need to be on time tomorrow

I'm gonna be good and go home after this drink anyway.
