    I actually read about the background to Zulu and the real story and its fascinating

    The Zulu chief was in the right iirc

    The film was based on the cover up following the disaster earlier

    The heroes of the film were described as

    One senior officer wrote: 'Bromhead is a great favourite in his regiment and a capital fellow at everything except soldiering ... He had to be reported confidentially as hopeless.' Another described Chard as 'a most useless officer, fit for nothing'.

    Mine was too young before for the long walks. And I'd done my knee in. Hopi g to get out there with him now he can walk for longer and I can too
