Season 5.....Episode 8. I watch them in bulk because one is never enough so I let the episodes build up on my Sky box then just have a Marathon session. You up to date?
The whole thing is nudity and gore. But there is a great storyline, took me ages to figure it out, with the swapping of series. If you could watch it from the original series through, i'm in no doubt it's better than GOT, and i'm a GOT fan.
****ing hell weren't expecting you to be that far! . Yeah I'm up to date, show just seems to get better and better. Think the second half of season five will be aired later this year and season 6 has already been commisioned for another 20 episodes, apparently the Rus Vikings enter in season 6 so should be decent, they're meant to be some crazy ****s.
Mate I watched the whole of season 3 in two days I am hooked, there are some fantastic characters in that show
Fell asleep at 10 , woke up at 12 with heart burn and a tickley cough. Now can’t sleep and have to be up at 2 to get to the airport. On the plus side I have Valium to take when I get to the airport
Haha that don't surprise me to honest, I could easily binge watch episodes. I think the characters are what makes it so good, most of the actors or actresses I'd never even heard of before. Lad that plays Ivar is one of the best I've seen but Ragnar, Rollo, Bjorn, Lagertha, Ubbe, King Ecbert etc are all class. I know Comm's a big fan of Spartacus, I loved it as well and when it finished I was gutted but found out about Vikings roughly two weeks afterwards, weren't expecting it to be better than Spartacus but blows it out the water for me.
Oh. I watched a few, wasn't impressed. Maybe i should watch it a bit more. I love a great series, GOT stole the thunder from many, it was really good, but there is better, i agree.
Have to say I loved Spartacus but not seen all the series. Also loved Vikings but not seen the latest one but really found game of thrones tedious after the initial series. Watched it all and thought men I liked the wire, sopranos over breaking bad too
I enjoyed it from the start but I reckon if you watch it a bit more you'll get into it mate. Really is class and every season seems to get better. I seriously don't watch much TV so for me to get hooked into something it must be pretty good lol. I'm probably in the 1% of people that doesn't like GOT. I've seen the first season, skim watched episodes in other seasons but it doesn't do it for me. I've never been into mythical stuff anyway so the dragons and snow zombies ain't really for me, didn't find the acting all that either but I know I'm in a minority when it comes to thinking that.
So do i mate. Swords and sorcery and all that Think I watched GOT all the way, in the end, for same reason I watched the awful hatty potter movies. For my kid brother and my own kids who nought into the hype GOT was better than potter way better but I really struggled to see it through
From what i've seen of GOT, it's excellent, But overly complicated. Would have made a great Lord of the Rings like trilogy. As you know, i'm a Spartacus fan. It's the best series made imo. But now i will look at Vikings.
Worst is the movie industry in an attempt to gain from the fame of the GOT stars has cast them in big roles and ruined movies
No comparing GOT to Potter unless you are under 14 or thick One is a kids show, the other isn't. PS. i love love of the rings., but not the hobbits
Never seen or read any Potter. The Hobbit is a decent book but the three films are dreadful. Think I read Peter Jackson was under pressure from the studio to turn it into a trilogy and it just didn't work.
