Britain's two oldest men have been celebrating their 110th birthdays.

Robert Weighton and Alf Smith were born on March 29 1908. They say laughter and porridge are the keys to a long life.

The supercentenarians have never met but have exchanged birthday cards for the last few years.

It is not known which of the pair, who have lived through two World Wars and 29 general elections, was born first.

I never laughed when I did porridge, maybe they liked picking up soap off the shower room floor.

Got the week off from tomorrow onward.
Probably crack on and fix the kitchen as it needs a fair bit of work doing to it.

I still have to do mine. I did the wall units but we are washing dishes in the bathroom currently as there are no floor units fitted so no sink

I need to do a completely new kitchen, start afresh as what I have now is either broken or ****.
Hob broke recently, oven is missing the control button, sink is ok but basic. Can probably save a few units but that's about it.

    Probably the best bet.
Been weighing up whether to go induction or stay gas. Already got induction ready pans and I like the look of them but I've always used gas.

    Me too mate. All new.

The vinyl tiles on the floor are going to be a bastard to get up.

Still got the other house to do and sell too. Need some helping hands but my kids run a mile

Depending on how old they are they have asbestos in them.

Vinyl tiles are a bloody nightmare.
Like Sweats has said check whether they have asbestos, you really don't want to risk it.
